Stewart Homes Standardized Operating Procedures for Prospective Homebuyers

Stewart Homes is committed to delivering a thoughtful, professional real estate experience defined by preparation, clarity, and respect for both buyers and sellers. In accordance with New York State law, Stewart Homes has adopted the following standardized operating procedures for prospective homebuyers.
Identification
Stewart Homes requires prospective homebuyers to present valid government-issued photo identification prior to receiving certain real estate brokerage services.
As a matter of practice, Stewart Homes requires valid government-issued photo identification before showing a Stewart Homes listing to an unrepresented buyer.
Financial Qualification
Stewart Homes requires prospective homebuyers to provide financial qualification documentation prior to receiving certain real estate brokerage services.
As a matter of practice, Stewart Homes requires a current mortgage pre-approval letter or satisfactory proof of funds before showing a Stewart Homes listing to an unrepresented buyer.
Buyer Representation Agreement
When Stewart Homes agrees to represent a buyer, the buyer will be required to enter into an exclusive buyer representation agreement prior to receiving buyer representation services.
Seller-Imposed Conditions
In addition to Stewart Homes’ standard procedures, individual sellers may establish additional requirements or conditions relating to property access, showings, or offer consideration.
