About

Amanda Stewart

Real Estate Broker, Wildlife Rehabilitator and Founder of ENYWARE

I’m Amanda Stewart, licensed real estate broker, wildlife rehabilitator, educator, and founder of ENYWARE (Eastern New York Wildlife Association for Rehabilitation & Education). My work lives at the intersection of homes, land, and the living systems that surround them.

I believe where and how we live matters, to our families, our communities, and the wildlife that quietly shares our backyards.

Two Worlds, One Mission

Most people know me in one of two ways:

• As the broker and founder of Stewart Homes, a modern boutique real estate brokerage built around transparency, data, and fair pricing.
• Or as as a NYS licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator and the founder of ENYWARE, a nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation and education organization serving Eastern New York.

To me, these aren’t separate paths. They’re parts of the same story.

Homes shape how land is used. Land shapes habitat. Habitat shapes whether wildlife survives.

Stewart Homes supports my conservation and education work, while ENYWARE grounds my real estate practice in stewardship, responsibility, and long‑term thinking. Together, they reflect how I believe business should work, practical, ethical, and rooted in something bigger than transactions.

My Real Estate Work: Stewart Homes

I founded Stewart Homes to challenge the traditional real estate model.

The industry often asks sellers to pay high commissions regardless of results. I built Stewart Homes around a different idea:

• Flat‑fee, seller‑first pricing
• Data‑driven strategy using the 72SOLD system
• Clear communication
• Smart marketing
• And a calm, structured process that protects both finances and sanity

I work with homeowners who value thoughtful decisions, fair systems, and long‑term outcomes, not pressure tactics or inflated promises.

Real estate is one of the biggest financial decisions most families ever make. It deserves intelligence, integrity, and care.

My Wildlife Work: ENYWARE

ENYWARE was created to serve the animals most people never expect to care about: the rabbits hit by lawn equipment, the nestlings fallen from backyard trees, the squirrels found in window wells, the foxes clipped by cars, the turtles crossing suburban roads.

My wildlife rehabilitation work draws on a background in science education, including hands-on experience in microbiology and infectious disease. That foundation shapes how I approach each case, with technical care, ecological context, and an understanding of how individual animals fit into larger systems.

As a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, I provide hands-on medical care, raising, stabilization, and release for native wildlife, while also helping people learn how to coexist with the animals already living around them.

ENYWARE focuses on:

• Wildlife rehabilitation
• Public education
• Habitat awareness
• Ethical human–wildlife interaction
• Long‑term conservation thinking

It’s quiet work. It’s meticulous work. And it’s deeply human work.

Why The Wild Deal Exists

The Wild Deal is where everything comes together.

It’s my education platform, media space, and storytelling home, where I talk about:

• Wildlife rehabilitation
• Backyard ecology
• Land stewardship
• Sustainable living
• And how real estate choices shape ecosystems

It’s also where Stewart Homes and ENYWARE intersect, not as marketing tools, but as examples of how modern business and conservation can coexist.

How I Work

Whether I’m guiding a home sale or feeding a baby squirrel, my approach is the same:

• Evidence over hype
• Calm over chaos
• Long‑term thinking over shortcuts
• Respect for systems, human and ecological

I value clarity, responsibility, and building things that last.

A Personal Note

I didn’t set out to build multiple organizations.

I set out to live honestly with my values, and followed where that led.

Sometimes that meant building a brokerage. Sometimes it meant building a wildlife nonprofit. Often, it meant learning how to hold both.

If you’re here because you’re selling a home, I’m glad you found me.

If you’re here because you care about wildlife, I’m also glad you found me.

And if you’re here because you believe that business and compassion don’t have to be opposites, then you’re exactly where you belong.
